The first volume is about Olivia Mariamne Raffles, Raffles first wife who died in Java in 1814. The second volume is about Sophia Raffles, Raffles second wife who accompanied him to Singapore and wrote the first account of his life after his death in 1826. The books provide detailed and well-researched information about the two women, their relationships with Raffles, and their roles in his career and legacy. The books also include illustrations, engravings, and bibliographies. The books were published by Landmark Books in 2002. The first volume has 159 pages and the second volume has 127 pages.
